Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Provide comprehensive medication therapy management and patient counseling on proper drug usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Maintain strict inventory control, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits of pharmacy records, controlled substances, and emergency drug carts across various hospital departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on hospital or clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic medical records.
