About the Role
Hebo Auto Company Limited is a leading automotive service provider specializing in genuine Toyota spare parts importation, distribution, and professional vehicle maintenance. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Petrol Mechanic to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, fluid checks, and vehicle servicing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and Toyota service manuals
- Repair and maintain petrol engines, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, and fuel systems
- Execute engine tune-ups, spark plug replacement, and ignition system checks
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs and ensure operational safety
- Prepare accurate job reports and maintain detailed records of all repairs and service activities
- Recommend genuine spare parts for worn or defective components
- Maintain high workmanship standards compliant with Toyota quality requirements
- Adhere to workshop health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and workshop supervisors for timely job completion
- Keep work area organized and properly maintain tools and equipment
- Minimum O Level Certificate with at least 5 years hands-on automotive experience
- Valid driving license
- Automotive certifications or formal training (preferred)
- Proficiency with Electronic Part Catalogue (EPC) systems (advantageous)
- Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage overtime commitments
- High professional integrity and strong work ethic
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
