About the Role
Growth in Value Alliance (GV Alliance) Partners is seeking a skilled and driven Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker) to join our dynamic security team in Nigeria. In this role, you will proactively simulate real-world cyberattacks to identify, assess, and exploit vulnerabilities across web applications, mobile apps, and APIs. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive black-box, gray-box, and white-box penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, and APIs based on OWASP Top 10 guidelines.
- Execute social engineering and phishing simulation campaigns, as well as advanced red team exercises simulating persistent threats.
- Develop, execute, and document proof-of-concept exploits and provide risk-ranked findings to stakeholders.
- Analyze security findings from bug bounty platforms and recreate vulnerabilities to ensure robust remediation.
- Collaborate closely with developers, AppSec, DevOps, and product teams to provide actionable remediation guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging CVEs, exploit techniques, and hacker tools utilizing platforms like Burp Suite, Kali Linux, and custom scripts.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in offensive security, ethical hacking, or bug bounty programs.
- Demonstrated expertise using security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, MobSF, Frida, and Postman.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, cloud platforms, and modern infrastructure security standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages including Python, Bash, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CEH, OSCP, OSCE, or GPEN are strongly preferred.
