About the Role
KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the global elimination of tuberculosis. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PDX Radiographer to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using Portable Digital X-ray equipment, playing a critical part in active TB case finding within hotspot communities alongside the State TB and Leprosy Control Program.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
- Operate Portable Digital X-ray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images and adjust parameters to clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of all radiographic procedures and patient information.
- Ensure strict compliance with all radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff.
- Perform routine maintenance, quality control checks, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and public health teams to support comprehensive patient care and community outreach.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Radiography.
- Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience working in a clinical or public health setting.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards, digital radiography equipment, and computer literacy.
- Familiarity with NGO operations and tuberculosis control programs is an added advantage.
- Physical fitness to handle field demands, alongside possession of an Android phone for reporting and communication.
