About the Role
CIG Motor Ltd, a leading global automotive presence representing GAC Motor in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely processing of employee payroll while maintaining strict compliance with Nigerian tax, pension, and labor regulations. You will collaborate closely with our Human Resources and Finance departments to deliver seamless payroll operations and resolve employee inquiries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, verify, and process employee payroll data including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and overtime.
- Ensure accurate computation of earnings and statutory deductions such as PAYE, pension, NHF, and NSITF.
- Coordinate with Finance to guarantee timely salary disbursement and banking transfers.
- Prepare and submit statutory deductions to relevant authorities in compliance with FIRS regulations.
- Maintain secure, confidential payroll records and manage employee queries regarding compensation and tax deductions.
- Leverage payroll software and HRIS platforms to streamline workflows and continuously improve processing accuracy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant payroll management experience within a structured corporate environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian tax laws, labor regulations, PAYE, and pension administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern payroll software or HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
