We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic HR and Finance team, ensuring seamless and accurate payroll administration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Calculate salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments.
  • Ensure statutory deductions and other payroll obligations are properly processed.
  • Reconcile payroll data and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Respond professionally to employee payroll-related enquiries.
  • Prepare comprehensive payroll reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee salary and payroll information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of payroll processes and statutory deductions in Nigeria.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF and nested IF formulas, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in other relevant payroll systems and software.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.
