About the Role
BethNeills Playhouse & Preschool is a premier faith-based early childhood education center located in Calabar, Cross River State. Under the visionary leadership of CEO Lucy O'Neill, we are committed to creating a nurturing environment where children thrive, play, learn, and develop at their individual pace. We are seeking passionate, dedicated Caregivers to join our team and make a lasting impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate and attentive care to children in a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning activities
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities and developmental programs
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with other staff members to create enriching learning experiences
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in a relevant field
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification
- National Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Passion for early childhood development and education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
