We are currently expanding our academic support team and looking for a passionate healthcare professional to join us as a Part-Time Clinical Preceptor to oversee, guide, and evaluate our students during their clinical rotations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical supervision, instruction, and guidance to nursing and healthcare students in clinical settings.
- Conduct regular student assessments, evaluate clinical competencies, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a professional mentor, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and adherence to medical ethics.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, attendance records, and performance reports in alignment with university standards.
- Collaborate closely with partner healthcare facilities, hospital staff, and academic coordinators to ensure optimal learning environments.
- Possession of a relevant healthcare degree (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health) and a valid, active professional practicing licence in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 2 years of active clinical experience combined with a strong passion for teaching and mentorship.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate adult learners.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms or open distance education models is an added advantage.
