About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities with our office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter to join our dynamic team and help maintain the pristine aesthetic of our prestigious properties. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing various surfaces to ensure exceptional results across our residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare all designated surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying appropriate primers.
- Mix, match, and expertly apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other protective finishes to diverse materials.
- Operate professional painting tools and equipment efficiently, including brushes, rollers, and advanced spray systems.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment, especially when working at heights.
- Maintain all painting tools, equipment, and ensure work areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other maintenance and facilities team members to meet strict project deadlines.
- Proven professional experience working as a painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern painting techniques, materials, and thorough surface preparation methods.
- Physical stamina and proven ability to work at heights and handle demanding manual tasks safely.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong personal commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions reliably.
- Prior experience with decorative finishes or industrial coatings is an added advantage.
