About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned leader in the beverage manufacturing sector, is looking for a skilled and proactive Packaging Process Artisan to join our dynamic production team. In this vital role, you will operate the packaging process area according to strict work instructions, execute non-destructive quality checks, and perform essential routine maintenance to ensure optimal plant efficiency and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the process area according to standard work instructions and adhere strictly to material usage standards.
- Execute required non-destructive quality checks, analyze trends, and record waste on appropriate information systems.
- Perform in-depth cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machines alongside scheduled routine maintenance activities.
- Apply 5S principles, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and proactively identify and correct unsafe work practices.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 5-Why and fishbone analysis to resolve machine stoppages and reduce downtime.
- Participate actively in shift meetings, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate seamlessly with team members.
- Minimum of an HND or BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on working experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with basic and advanced root-cause analysis tools.
- Good understanding of electronic communication devices, automation technologies, and basic mechanical systems.
