About the Role
SPIE Oil & Gas Services is a global leader in technical expertise for the oil and gas industry, dedicated to supporting upstream and downstream assets throughout their lifecycle. We are currently seeking a skilled Package Coordinator / Turbinist to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee the maintenance, reliability, and efficient operation of turbo machines and gas compressors, ensuring all activities meet the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Organize on-site maintenance operations for turbo machines by effectively coordinating supervisors and support teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to company HSE regulations, particularly regarding Work Permits and standard industry practices.
- Manage maintenance interventions and generate detailed technical reports using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Troubleshoot turbo packages during breakdowns and provide rapid response solutions to restore normal operations.
- Analyze recurring corrective maintenance issues and recommend improvements to preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor the operational parameters of turbo machines to guarantee maximum reliability and asset integrity.
- Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC, BTS/DUT, or equivalent technical qualification).
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the maintenance or operation of gas turbines and gas compressors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi-national teams in challenging environments.
- Physical fitness and readiness to work on offshore installations under demanding climatic conditions.
