About the Role
Clinix Healthcare is a leading diagnostic services provider offering a full range of diagnostic and remedial solutions equipped with modern amenities of international standards. We are currently seeking a skilled, patient-focused, and professional Optometrist to join our dedicated team at the Ajegunle Branch in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, ensure accurate vision assessments, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments for diverse patients.
- Diagnose refractive errors and common eye conditions accurately.
- Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids as appropriate.
- Provide patient counselling on eye health, vision care, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical examination documentation.
- Operate and maintain optometric equipment according to standard safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary patient care.
- Adhere strictly to professional ethics, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license and registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN).
- Previous clinical experience in a recognized optometry or eye care setting is highly preferred.
- Completed NYSC certificate is an added advantage.
