About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. This role requires a dedicated professional who is competent in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, operating advanced diagnostic equipment, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Clerk patients and conduct thorough preliminary eye assessments.
- Measure visual acuity and intraocular pressure while performing objective and subjective refraction.
- Perform specialized diagnostic procedures including visual fields, optical coherence tomography, A-scan biometry, and B-scan ultrasonography.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, and seamlessly refer patients requiring advanced ophthalmological review.
- Support the efficient daily running of the clinic and comprehensive optical services.
- Doctor of Optometry degree from a recognized university.
- Successfully completed internship and NYSC, or possession of an exemption certificate.
- Current registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN) along with a valid practising licence.
- Preferably at least two years of post-internship experience, though competent recently qualified optometrists will also be considered.
