About the Role
Skipper Eye-Q Speciality Eye Hospital is a renowned international eye care provider with a strong network of 42 specialized eye hospitals across India and Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optician to join our professional healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our patients' vision and overall quality of life by providing expert dispensing services, personalized frame recommendations, and precise optical adjustments in a modern clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Interpreting the results of comprehensive eye examinations using prescriptions written by qualified Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
- Advising patients expertly on frame weights, materials, styles, and colors to suit their aesthetic and practical preferences.
- Recommending appropriate lenses, anti-reflective coatings, and frames tailored to each customer's specific visual needs.
- Measuring customers accurately to determine the most suitable types and dimensions of frames.
- Adjusting and fitting frames professionally to ensure they sit comfortably and properly on the patient's face.
- Preparing precise orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses by thoroughly checking prescriptions, lens thickness, and other technical specifications.
- Ensuring all optical orders are processed accurately, inspected thoroughly, and delivered to patients in a timely manner.
- Candidates should possess at least a Diploma in Dispensing Opticianry from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience working as an Optician in a reputable eye clinic or hospital.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in processing optical prescriptions and measurements.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
