About the Role
Smart Energies (formerly Smart Gas NG) is revolutionizing the cooking gas industry in Nigeria through our innovative, technology-driven platform. We are committed to making LPG purchasing safe, convenient, and efficient for our growing customer base. We are currently looking for a dedicated and physically active Operations Support Officer to join our dynamic logistics and warehouse team in Lagos State.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, counting, and safely storing cooking gas cylinders and accessory kits.
- Assist with cylinder branding, accurate labelling, and routine stock checks.
- Help coordinate and participate in loading, offloading, and product delivery to various retailer locations.
- Maintain precise stock and movement records, immediately reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Strictly adhere to all Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) handling, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BSc) from a recognized institution.
- Must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving heavy gas cylinders.
- Demonstrated honesty, punctuality, and dependability with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to accurately maintain simple inventory records.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for deliveries when required.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or gas-handling will be a distinct advantage.
- Must be currently based in or able to commute reliably to Lagos State.
