About the Role
Peridot Forte Solutions Consulting is currently recruiting a competent and experienced Operations Supervisor on behalf of our esteemed client in the beauty and wellness sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon, coordinate team activities, and guarantee an outstanding customer experience for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate daily salon operations to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise, support, and mentor salon staff to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Welcome clients, assess their service needs, and direct them to the appropriate stylist or service area.
- Manage customer flow, appointments, and schedules to minimize wait times and maximize satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Provide hands-on hair styling or braiding support during peak business periods.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality, and compliance with salon policies.
- Ensure the salon environment, workstations, and equipment remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Track inventory levels of salon supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
- Maintain accurate operational records and submit regular performance reports to management.
- First Degree in any related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory, coordination, or leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic proficiency in record keeping and operational reporting.
- Practical hair-making or styling skills will be a strong added advantage.
- Proximity to the Lekki axis in Lagos is strongly preferred.
