About the Role
Zeedlabs System Limited is a dynamic Pan-African technology and solutions company. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of Grocery Box. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our supply chain, ensuring seamless inventory management, procurement, and timely order fulfillment to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of Grocery Box, ensuring optimal efficiency across all processes.
- Oversee procurement, stock availability, inventory management, and timely replenishment.
- Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and FMCG distributors.
- Monitor product movement, track expiry dates, manage damages, reduce wastage, and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packaged, and dispatched on schedule.
- Coordinate delivery operations and monitor third-party delivery performance.
- Monitor product pricing, operational costs, and profit margins.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes for procurement, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Identify and quickly resolve operational bottlenecks impacting customer service or profitability.
- Supervise operations staff and coordinate effectively with logistics partners.
- Maintain precise operational records and generate regular performance reports.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety compliance for all food products.
- B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in FMCG, retail, grocery, e-commerce, or distribution operations.
- Demonstrated practical experience in inventory management, procurement, supplier relations, and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of foodstuffs and local distribution processes in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant digital operational tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines.
- Prior experience in online grocery or e-commerce operations is a distinct advantage.
