About the Role
Proten International is a leading Human Capital Development firm operating across Europe and Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager for Manned Guarding to join our expanding team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of physical security and guarding services across the assigned region. You will direct a multidisciplinary team including Senior Operations Coordinators, Contract Managers, and security operatives to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence, compliance, and client satisfaction while actively driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-quality manned guarding and physical security services in the assigned region.
- Manage, mentor, and supervise a large team of operations coordinators, supervisors, contract managers, and field operatives.
- Conduct regular security risk and threat assessments at client locations, developing robust mitigation strategies and incident response plans.
- Engage proactively with clients to address concerns, provide security advisory services, and foster long-term retention.
- Collaborate with the Fusion Centre to optimize the deployment of security technology, guard tours, and communication tools.
- Drive new business acquisition by meeting strategic targets for client and contract expansion.
- Ensure strict compliance with company standard operating procedures, regulatory frameworks, and ISO standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of operational management experience within the physical security or manned guarding industry.
- Proven track record in security risk assessment, crisis management, and emergency response.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large, dispersed teams of security personnel.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards, security technologies, and operational reporting frameworks.
