We are currently looking for a creative and results-driven Public Relations Officer to elevate our brand visibility and strengthen our public image across Nigeria's vibrant entertainment and hospitality landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that enhance the Above Lifestyle brand image across media platforms.
- Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with media personnel, journalists, lifestyle influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Draft and distribute engaging press releases, media kits, feature articles, and promotional copy for upcoming events and product launches.
- Monitor public perception, media coverage, and social sentiment regarding the brand, providing actionable insights and crisis communication support when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and events teams to promote nightlife activities, fine dining offerings, and special activations.
- Manage media attendance at company events and coordinate interviews to secure positive media coverage in prominent publications.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media management, preferably within the hospitality, lifestyle, or entertainment sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong portfolio of published press materials or successful PR campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to build a robust network of media contacts and lifestyle influencers within Nigeria.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
