About the Role
Provenfield Research Labs is recruiting an Operations Manager on behalf of an innovative early-stage fashion technology startup connecting African designers with buyers. In this remote role, you will supervise Business Executives, streamline vendor onboarding, and ensure platform quality standards are consistently met. This is a vital position for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in Nigeria's burgeoning tech and fashion ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Business Executives, coordinate daily priorities, and monitor performance targets.
- Review vendor applications, supporting documents, and product listings for accuracy and compliance.
- Approve, decline, or request corrections on submissions with clear, actionable feedback.
- Prevent onboarding bottlenecks by proactively monitoring pending reviews and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare regular reports for company leadership.
- Escalate policy exceptions and suspicious submissions appropriately.
- Contribute to team training and suggest practical workflow improvements.
- Proven experience in operations, team coordination, vendor onboarding, or administrative review.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to apply guidelines consistently.
- Strong written communication skills and sound professional judgment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, online dashboards, and digital collaboration tools.
- Previous e-commerce or fashion industry experience is an advantage.
- Must possess a reliable working laptop, stable internet connection, and a suitable remote workspace.
- Competitive monthly compensation of NGN 120,000 on an initial three-month contract basis.
- Opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Nigeria (Lagos-based applicants preferred).
