About the Role
Apex Data Operations Ltd is an innovative tech-enabled company helping Nigerian retail merchants eliminate daily revenue leakages through advanced sales reconciliation, restock alerts, and digital credit ledgers delivered via WhatsApp. We are currently scaling our operations within the phone and gadget retail vertical in Port Harcourt and require a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary on-the-ground representative, working directly from client retail shops across Port Harcourt as this is a fully field-based role with no central office.
- Onboard new retail merchants onto our proprietary tracking and reconciliation systems smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct in-depth discovery conversations with shop owners to understand their pain points and operational needs.
- Manage operational spreadsheets, coordinate dispatch and proof-of-delivery reconciliations, and compile comprehensive weekly performance reports.
- Drive client retention and build strong, lasting business relationships with merchants.
- Must be currently based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, with deep familiarity with local commercial areas.
- Proficient in using WhatsApp for business communications and highly skilled in Google Sheets for data management.
- Fearless and personable communicator, comfortable walking into retail shops and engaging directly with business owners.
- Exceptional organizational skills, absolute reliability, and a strong commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
- Proven sales ability or prior experience in field operations is a significant advantage.
- Competitive monthly base salary of 150,000 Naira complemented by an attractive 50 percent share of net monthly profits.
