About the Role
Maanj Agric (Maanj Agric Food Secure Nigeria) is an innovative agri-tech and food manufacturing enterprise based in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. Founded in 2022, we leverage cutting-edge technology to build sustainable networks for food production, grain storage, and distribution. We are currently looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead our daily operational workflows, enhance process efficiencies, and support our rapid growth in the Nigerian agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and optimize daily operations across food production, grain storage, and distribution networks.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and scale business output.
- Manage, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational targets and maintain high safety standards.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery and minimal post-harvest losses.
- Monitor technological integration within operational processes to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural, food safety, and regulatory standards in Nigeria.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing operations, with a strong preference for background in agribusiness or food manufacturing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
- Exceptional organizational, logistical planning, and process improvement capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced agri-tech environment.
