About the Role

Aldelia Limited is currently recruiting an Onne Security Coordinator to manage the overall security framework for our Onne Base operations and surrounding facilities in Rivers State, Nigeria. Operating within a high-risk and volatile industrial environment, this critical role ensures the comprehensive protection of company personnel, physical assets, and infrastructure through rigorous security planning and tactical coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the Onne Base Security Plan while conducting regular security inspections and patrols across quay-side and staging areas.
  • Regulate facility access, overseeing the screening of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and cargo to prevent unauthorized asset removal.
  • Coordinate the deployment and daily activities of Government Security Forces (GSF), Civil Guards, and contracted security personnel.
  • Conduct security and VPSHR inductions for employees, contractors, and relevant operational teams.
  • Gather intelligence, investigate security incidents, maintain accurate occurrence logs, and liaise with authorized GSF authorities.
  • Monitor and test surveillance, access control, and intrusion-detection equipment to address operational vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Mandatory military or police background combined with proven experience in industrial security, ideally within the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing security personnel, access control systems, and crisis response in high-risk environments.
  • Strong leadership, investigation, incident reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive working on a rotational schedule in a demanding, volatile operating environment.
