About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier provider of consultancy, resource development, and human resource solutions in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Oilfield Drilling and Completions Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of integrated energy projects across multiple product lines, ensuring operational excellence and strict adherence to safety standards within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the comprehensive planning, execution, and delivery of integrated drilling and completions projects across multiple stakeholders and product lines.
- Build and maintain robust customer relationships, ensuring all contractual commitments are fully achieved and exceeded.
- Drive optimal project performance through proactive risk management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end project financial performance, closely monitoring revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Oversee rigorous project schedules, comprehensive resource planning, operational readiness reviews, and robust contingency plans.
- Promote high Health, Safety, and Environment standards, ensuring strict compliance with both company and client requirements.
- Lead thorough project reviews, performance reporting, lessons learned sessions, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Support strategic business growth by partnering closely with commercial and sales teams to identify new opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive industry experience.
- Substantial professional experience within the energy industry, specifically in well construction, completions, intervention, P&A, or related operations.
- Proven extensive experience in project management, successfully delivering complex operational projects in the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated strong technical knowledge and hands-on understanding of drilling and completions activities.
- Strong background in managing project financial performance, budgets, and commercial risks.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with working knowledge in Microsoft Project being a distinct advantage.
- Possession of a PMP or equivalent recognized project management certification is strongly preferred.
- Well Control awareness and valid certification are considered significant advantages.
