About the Role
Westpaq Engineering Nigeria Limited (WPQ) is a premier integrated global management consulting and engineering firm specializing in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. We are currently seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Offshore Documentation Technician to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will support quality documentation and document control activities, ensuring that all offshore operations maintain the highest standards of compliance, organization, and traceability.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, issue, control, and meticulously follow up on quality reports and related project documentation.
- Manage controlled copies and Master Copies in the field to ensure the latest approved revisions are always available at the worksite.
- Assist the technical team with the preparation and strict control of NDT requisitions and related documentation.
- Track QC documentation, inspection records, and outstanding quality-related actions to resolution.
- Support Zeppelin and GO HUB activities, serving as an effective documentation and commissioning interface when required.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and documentation support to the QC team, ensuring proper archiving, traceability, and timely distribution of quality files.
- Minimum of an ND, HND, or B.Sc. in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in technical documentation, document control, or Quality/QC documentation.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- High level of initiative and independence, capable of managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
