About the Role
BorderlessHR is seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Official Driver to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe, timely, and comfortable transportation of company executives, staff, and clients. We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled behind the wheel but also demonstrates exceptional road safety awareness, time management, and a high level of discretion. Key Responsibilities- Transport company executives, staff, and authorized visitors safely and punctually to designated destinations within Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Maintain the assigned company vehicle in a clean, tidy, and mechanically sound condition at all times.
- Conduct routine daily checks on vehicle fluids, tires, brakes, and lights before embarking on any trip.
- Plan efficient travel routes while staying updated on current traffic patterns, road closures, and navigation tools.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date logbooks for all trips, fuel consumption, and routine maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all local traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Perform minor routine vehicle maintenance tasks and report any major mechanical faults promptly to management.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional driving experience, preferably within corporate environments in Lagos.
- Possession of a valid and current Nigerian Driver’s License and Lagos State Driver's Institute (LASDRI) certification.
- Must reside within the Ajah, Lekki, or immediate surrounding axes for prompt responsiveness.
- Smart, neat appearance with excellent personal hygiene and professional presentation.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of major routes, landmarks, and traffic regulations in Lagos State.
