About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a seasoned and disciplined professional to join our team as the OC Police. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing security interfaces with Government Security Forces (GSF), overseeing law enforcement liaisons, and ensuring full compliance with Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) and ISPS codes across our operational areas in Lagos and the southwestern region.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate security interfaces and maintain strong liaisons with GSF authorities, police commands, and military commands within Lagos and neighboring states.
- Manage all GSF and SPY personnel deployed to company operations, ensuring strict adherence to police regulations, code of conduct, and disciplinary procedures.
- Drive the implementation of VPSHR and ISPS code compliance across all operational assets and deepwater scopes.
- Coordinate comprehensive security risk assessments, investigate security breaches, and oversee the reporting of anomalies, near misses, and incidents using the Synergi tool.
- Develop and implement security and weapon-handling training programs, inductions, and periodic refresher courses for all deployed personnel.
- Provide strategic oversight for the protection of company staff, contractors, and assets during operations within the region.
- A good university degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 20 years of active work experience within the police or military, holding a rank not below Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) or its military equivalent.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship management, negotiation, and team-building capabilities.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt swiftly to changing operational environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard security reporting tools.
- Relevant professional security memberships and Security Management Certifications will be an added advantage.
