About the Role
Credit Direct Limited is a leading non-bank finance company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, providing payroll-based consumer loans across 25 states and the FCT. We are looking for an experienced Lead, Partnership and Ecosystem to build and scale our commercial partnership function, driving our ambition to become Africa's premier embedded finance provider.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the overarching CDL partnership strategy across Built and Integrated ecosystems, defining target archetypes and deal economics.
- Originate, structure, and close high-impact embedded credit, checkout, and BNPL partnerships with e-commerce platforms, telcos, and payroll providers.
- Lead the international partnership expansion across priority African markets, establishing local distribution rails and regulatory-aligned platforms.
- Design the partnership target operating model, recruit and mentor team members, and implement robust CRM tooling and pipeline governance.
- Collaborate closely with C-suite stakeholders including the CRCMO, CPO, and CTO to ensure seamless product integration and risk alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; postgraduate or MBA qualification is an added advantage.
- 12-15+ years of progressive experience, with at least 7+ years in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles within fintech or financial services.
- Demonstrated success in originating and closing material commercial partnerships and managing complex API-led integrations.
- Active Pan-African network with a strong understanding of CBN and regional regulatory frameworks.
