About the Role

Abuja Clinics, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider established in 1989 with branches in Karu, Garki, and Maitama, is seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology Consultant to join our expert medical team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, high-quality maternal and reproductive healthcare services, leveraging our state-of-the-art medical equipment, including 4D-ultrasonography and advanced diagnostic tools. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies, routine antenatal care, labor, and delivery procedures.
  • Perform complex gynecological surgeries and routine minimally invasive procedures.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical officers, and nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary medical boards and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Fellowship of the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College (FMCOG) or West African Postgraduate Medical College (FWACS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Current and valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with an active practicing license.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a reputable healthcare facility.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
