About the Role
Capitol Hill Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Warri, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Consultant to join our esteemed medical team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive maternal and reproductive healthcare services, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety are consistently met for our diverse patient community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert obstetric and gynaecological care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
- Perform complex gynaecological surgeries and manage high-risk pregnancies with precision and care.
- Conduct routine diagnostic evaluations, consultations, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered healthcare delivery.
- Mentor junior medical staff, participate in departmental training sessions, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-specialisation clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Possession of FMCOG, FWACS, or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
- Valid registration and current practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated strong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills.
