Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for outpatients and A&E patients.
  • Triage patients accurately, record vital signs, and prepare examination rooms ahead of medical consultations.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely within your professional scope of practice.
  • Run specialized injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics while providing essential health education.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records while adhering strictly to infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards.
  • Coordinate same-day patient referrals and ensure safe, efficient discharge processes from the clinic.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support seamless managed-care workflows.
Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) qualification or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
  • Hold a current, valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration licence and MCPDP compliance.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-registration nursing experience, though exceptional newly registered nurses will be considered.
  • Completed mandatory internship and NYSC, or possess a valid exemption certificate (for degree holders).
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, medication administration, and patient communication skills.
