About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Officer to join our healthcare team in Mosimi. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care across both out-patient and in-patient streams, ensuring adherence to clinical governance and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for patients within out-patient and in-patient streams.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while strictly adhering to the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical records while upholding infection-prevention standards.
- Triage patients, record vital signs, and prepare examination rooms ahead of medical consultations.
- Coordinate admission and discharge processes, conduct shift handovers, and monitor early-warning scores to escalate deteriorating conditions promptly.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support managed-care processes and deliver point-of-care health education.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
- Valid NMCN registration/license and MCPDP compliance, along with completed NYSC or a valid exemption.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-registration nursing experience, though exceptional newly registered nurses may be considered.
