We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Officer (In-Patient) to join our esteemed healthcare network in Nigeria. In this role, you will deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care, ensuring optimal health outcomes for all admitted patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care plans for in-patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately while strictly adhering to professional scopes of practice.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, track early-warning scores, and escalate deteriorating conditions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely nursing records in compliance with infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards.
  • Lead patient admission and discharge processes while actively participating in shift handovers.
  • Apply specialized pressure-area care and falls-prevention protocols for vulnerable patients.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support managed-care processes.
Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration/license and ensure MCPDP compliance.
  • Hold a Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited institution or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized university.
  • Completed required internships and NYSC (for degree holders) or hold a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-registration nursing experience, though exceptional newly registered nurses will be considered.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in in-patient settings with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
