We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our vibrant early years team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a foundational part in shaping the lives of young Muslim children, ensuring they develop a strong love for learning, moral integrity, and early academic excellence within a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging daily lessons tailored to nursery-aged children in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and positive behavior.
- Integrate Islamic values, manners, and basic Quranic teachings into daily classroom activities and routines.
- Monitor, assess, and record each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development, providing regular feedback to parents.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting inclusion, patience, and kindness among pupils.
- Organize creative activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play to support holistic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school management to plan school events, meetings, and curriculum updates.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, or equivalent relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience within a nursery or early years school setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and modern early childhood pedagogical methods.
- Sound knowledge of Islamic principles, morals, and Quranic recitation for young children.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
