About the Role
Prime Montessori Nursery and Primary School (PMS) is committed to arresting the falling standard in the educational sector by providing qualitative and balanced education for all children. We are currently seeking a caring, attentive Nursery Class Assistant to support our lead teachers in delivering an engaging, safe, and nurturing early childhood program for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in managing daily classroom activities, routines, and learning schedules.
- Provide attentive care, ensuring the physical safety, comfort, and well-being of all children.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to early learning.
- Support children with personal hygiene, feeding, and resting times throughout the school day.
- Engage children in creative play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and foundational learning exercises.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff to foster positive relationships with parents.
- Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent academic qualification.
- Prior demonstrable experience working with young children in a nursery, crèche, or formal childcare setting.
- A genuine love for children, high patience levels, and a passion for early childhood development.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and parents.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working harmoniously as a supportive team player.
- Basic awareness of classroom safety, health standards, and hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to keep up with active toddlers and young children throughout daily activities.
