About the Role
Resurgir Consulting is recruiting passionate, teachable, and dedicated educators on behalf of a reputable Montessori school in Lagos. We are looking for nurturing professionals who possess a genuine love for teaching children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to building a long-term career in early childhood and primary education. Successful candidates will resume in early August and must be ready to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Montessori standards.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and child-friendly learning environment that encourages curiosity.
- Effectively manage classroom activities and maintain positive discipline.
- Assess pupils' academic progress and provide targeted support.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson notes, teaching aids, and instructional materials.
- Maintain accurate attendance, academic, and behavioral records.
- Promote pupils' intellectual, emotional, social, and moral development.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, and continuous professional training.
- Communicate professionally and regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Minimum of an ND, HND, or B.Sc in Education or related fields.
- At least one year of proven teaching experience in a Nursery or Primary school.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Patient, caring, adaptable, and deeply passionate about working with children.
- Demonstrated high moral character and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to commit to a minimum employment term of one year.
