About the Role
Reckitt Benckiser Nigeria, a world-leading consumer health and hygiene company, is seeking a strategic NPS Buyer to transform our procurement landscape. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Factory, Finance, Supply and cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business budgets and improvement initiatives
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing recommendations through partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors
- Analyse indirect material spend categories, identify market trends, and translate insights into actionable procurement strategies
- Identify, select, develop, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, positioning Reckitt as a preferred customer
- Drive continuous supplier performance improvements in service quality, cost efficiency, and innovation delivery
- Monitor category risks and opportunities, implementing creative mitigation and expansion strategies
- Design, verify, and amend contracts in conjunction with the Legal Function
- Lead Major CAPEX cost preparation for the Nigerian factory operations
- Proven procurement or supply chain background with demonstrated operational expertise
- Strong negotiation skills paired with analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Excellent organisational abilities with proficiency in managing multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective communicator across all organisational levels
- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite
- Expertise in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, contract management, and logistics
