About the Role
South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites in Calabar, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Supervisor to join our premier hospitality team. In this pivotal overnight role, you will oversee hotel operations, maintain high standards of guest service, and ensure the safety and security of our guests and property during the night shift. We are looking for a hands-on professional who can lead by example, resolve guest issues efficiently, and maintain operational excellence when management is off-site.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all night-shift operations across front desk, housekeeping, and security departments.
- Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional resolution of guest inquiries, complaints, and requests during the night.
- Conduct night audit duties, reconcile daily transactions, and generate accurate shift reports for management review.
- Monitor hotel security protocols, conduct routine property patrols, and manage emergency response procedures.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate night-shift staff to uphold the luxury service standards of South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address urgent facility repairs or overnight guest room issues.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations or hospitality management.
- Proven ability to manage overnight shifts independently with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic financial reporting.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
