About the Role
One Acre Fund is seeking a curious, eager-to-learn professional to join our Young Professionals Program as a Nigeria Recruitment Intern. In this role, you will help drive our hiring processes, master the operational engine room of recruitment, and ensure a seamless candidate journey for top talent dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Execute recurring administrative tasks to keep recruitment operations running smoothly with 100% data accuracy.
- Facilitate the candidate screening process, including CV longlisting, interview scheduling, and professional candidate communication.
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) database to ensure up-to-date statuses and support weekly reporting.
- Collaborate with management to identify recruitment bottlenecks and support process improvements.
- Manage logistics for interview panels and provide operational support for ad-hoc projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field of study.
- 6 months to 1 year of recruitment or HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse).
- Basic data analysis skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Paid internship within a high-performing, mission-driven global nonprofit organization.
- Weekly 1-on-1 check-ins, structured mentorship, and professional training opportunities.
- Regular performance and career reviews every one to three months.
- Hands-on experience building a foundational career in talent acquisition.
