About the Role
Bolton White Hotels & Apartments, a premier hospitality destination conveniently located in the heart of Abuja near major landmarks and business hubs, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our workplace culture, optimizing human resource processes, and supporting our dynamic team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update comprehensive employee records, including HR databases, attendance logs, leave records, and confidential personnel files.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job advertisements and screening resumes to scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate onboarding.
- Prepare essential HR documentation such as employment contracts, official offer letters, and comprehensive onboarding packs.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding and induction process for new hires, including orientation schedules and policy dissemination.
- Assist with payroll preparation, administration of employee benefits, and efficient leave management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding internal HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate staff training sessions, professional development workshops, and internal employee engagement activities.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal company policies.
- Provide reliable administrative support to the human resources department and executive management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in human resources or administrative management, preferably within the hospitality or service sector.
- Relevant professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management software.
