About the Role
One Acre Fund is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting smallholder farmers with asset-based financing and agricultural training to reduce poverty and hunger. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief of Staff to lead the execution of our Country Director's strategic agenda and drive organizational effectiveness across our Niger program.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the principal strategic advisor to the Country Director, providing high-level insights and data-driven recommendations on critical issues.
- Translate organizational strategy into prioritized execution plans and maintain rigorous accountability for key outcomes.
- Manage high-stakes cross-functional initiatives, special projects, and complex multi-team programs from conception to delivery.
- Facilitate strategic communication and decision-making between executive leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Direct executive operations, board preparation, and high-stakes reporting to ensure seamless organizational governance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in strategic support, project management, and executive operations within consulting, corporate strategy, or international development.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership to drive strategy execution, cross-functional influence, and large-scale improvements.
- Elite analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong capacity to diagnose complex challenges and propose practical solutions.
