About the Role
Smart Class Hotel & Suite, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a skilled and tech-savvy IT / Systems Officer to join our dynamic team in Aji–Enugu Ezike, Enugu State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel technology infrastructure, supporting both guest services and internal administrative systems to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, network systems, printers, and scanners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and assistance to hotel staff and guests regarding IT systems.
- Manage hotel property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) terminals, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Perform regular backups of critical hotel data and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
- Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance and upgrades.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond promptly to technical emergencies.
