Net Engineer - Corporate Banking Systems

About the Role

Hampshire Heights Global Company Limited (HHGCL) is a prominent information technology and management consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialize in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technical project management for global multinationals and public sector organizations across Africa. We are currently hiring a dedicated .NET Engineer to develop and support mission-critical applications for back-office, CRM, and internal banking operations.

As our .NET Engineer, you will play a vital role in building scalable backend solutions that drive our corporate banking infrastructure. Your core duties will include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Build secure and scalable web applications and services utilizing ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
• Implement efficient data access layers and manage database interactions using Entity Framework.
• Write complex T-SQL queries and optimize database performance in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams using Git for version control and Visual Studio for development.
• Maintain and enhance existing back-office systems, CRM platforms, and internal banking workflows.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity at our Lagos office, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• BSc with a minimum of Second Class Lower OR HND with a minimum of Upper Credit in a relevant discipline.
• Successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
• Proven professional experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server/T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and Visual Studio.
• Prior experience in banking, fintech, or other highly regulated environments is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, RabbitMQ, or Kafka will be considered a significant plus.
• Must be fully available for 100% onsite work at our Lagos office.
