About the Role
Grand Oak Limited, a leading pan-African conglomerate, is looking for a strategic and results-driven National Premium HORECA Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing national strategies to drive exceptional growth within the premium on-trade channel, encompassing hotels, restaurants, and cafés. You will spearhead our efforts to build enduring relationships with high-value accounts, elevate brand visibility, and deliver sustainable revenue growth nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive national strategies for the premium HORECA channel to achieve business growth objectives.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key premium accounts and industry partners.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations and manage complex contracts with HORECA stakeholders.
- Oversee high-impact brand activations, visibility initiatives, and experiential marketing campaigns.
- Monitor evolving market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operational alignment.
- Track performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and reports to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HORECA team to foster high performance and professional growth.
- Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI) across all initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal company policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a distinct advantage.
- 7 to 10 years of proven commercial experience within the FMCG sector, with a strong preference for candidates from the wines and spirits industry.
- Demonstrated expertise and deep-rooted experience in managing the HORECA channel.
