About the Role
Keystone International Academic Centre, a reputable private co-educational institution in Warri, Delta State, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Nanny / Handler to join our dynamic early childhood team. Established in 1983 and incorporated in 2015, our institution prides itself on delivering exceptional educational and developmental services from the crèche and playgroup levels up to secondary school. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our youngest students, ensuring their daily needs are met while supporting their early social and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive care, supervision, and safety for infants and toddlers in the crèche and playgroup sections.
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, learning exercises, and interactive play sessions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment conducive to early learning and rest.
- Assist children with feeding, hygiene, and naptime routines with patience and warmth.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and teaching staff regarding daily progress and needs.
- Relevant certification or academic qualification in early childhood care, education, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a nanny, caregiver, or childcare handler, preferably within a school or structured daycare setting.
- A genuinely caring, patient, and empathetic attitude towards children.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
