About the Role
The Lamb Academy is a newly established, premier educational institution located along Lotto/Shimawa Road, Mowe, dedicated to delivering holistic student development. We provide a safe, secure, and inspiring environment featuring spacious learning-friendly classrooms, well-equipped science laboratories, and specially designed rooms for art, music, and life sciences. Our facilities also support extensive sports and recreational activities, including swimming pools, athletics tracks, basketball courts, football pitches, and tennis courts. We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Music Teacher to inspire our students and lead our vibrant music program.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive music lessons to students in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Instruct students in vocal and instrumental techniques, music theory, and history.
- Organize and direct school choir, band, and musical performances for school events and ceremonies.
- Utilize modern ICT tools and digital resources to enhance music instruction and student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual musical growth.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate music with broader academic and arts programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education with a focus on Music or a related relevant subject from a reputable institution.
- Possession of a PGDE or Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Mandatory registration as a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong proficiency in using ICT to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Prior knowledge and teaching experience of the IGCSE curriculum will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
