Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the school scheme of work and national educational standards.
- Cover every item in the curriculum efficiently while fostering a deep, practical understanding of music among students.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Integrate digital tools, such as Microsoft Office Suites, to enhance classroom instruction and presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school extracurricular activities, events, and cultural productions.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Music, or a recognized equivalent.
- Possession of a higher degree or professional music qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong command of the English language with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of adolescent psychology and the ability to manage a vibrant classroom.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
