About the Role
Street Souk is Africa's premier streetwear convention and youth culture festival based in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in 2018, we serve as a massive community hub celebrating African street fashion, music, art, and self-expression. We are currently seeking a talented Motion Designer to create bold, engaging, and visually impactful work for our upcoming campaigns, events, digital platforms, and merchandise.
Key Responsibilities- Design and produce dynamic motion graphics, animations, and visual assets for digital campaigns, social media channels, and live events.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual stories.
- Adapt design concepts seamlessly across multiple digital and physical mediums while maintaining brand consistency.
- Contribute fresh creative ideas, mood boards, and innovative solutions during brainstorming sessions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in motion design, graphic design, animation, or 3D visual arts.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creativity, typography skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment as well as collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
- Prior experience in the fashion, streetwear, music, or youth culture industry is a distinct advantage.
