About the Role
Notify Health, an international non-profit incubated by Ambitious Impact, is dedicated to improving childhood vaccination rates across Nigeria through automated phone reminders. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer to ensure the highest standards of data collection, analysis, and reporting as we scale our life-saving programs nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Review and grade data submissions from health workers, providing actionable feedback to improve record-keeping and data quality.
- Oversee digitization workflows, verify photo submissions, and troubleshoot data entry discrepancies.
- Conduct continuous program audits, data cleaning, and impact evaluations.
- Travel to implementation sites to train field staff on SurveyCTO and other digital data collection tools.
- Propose and implement process improvements and automations to enhance monitoring and evaluation efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on MEL or data-driven program analytics experience in health or development sectors.
- Strong practical skills in Google Sheets and proficiency with digital data collection platforms like SurveyCTO or KoboToolbox.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to execute repetitive data tasks accurately.
- Clear written and spoken English, plus fluency in Nigerian Pidgin (additional local languages are a plus).
- Reliable remote work setup with a computer and stable internet connection.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 500,000 to 730,000 based on experience.
