About the Role
Koins Microfinance Bank Limited is a fully licensed technology and impact-driven microfinance bank dedicated to advancing financial inclusion through accessible loans, savings, and investments. We are seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain responsive mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping digital banking experiences that empower our customers financially across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain responsive cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using modern frameworks.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and scalable mobile code.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs including payment gateways and push notifications.
- Optimize applications for performance, stability, security, accessibility, and compatibility across various devices and operating systems.
- Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure exceptional application quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, performance bottlenecks, and UI defects promptly.
- Manage application builds, testing, deployment, and seamless releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver features from conception through deployment.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure strict adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and development guidelines.
- Monitor application performance, analyze user feedback, and implement continuous improvements to enhance user experience and stability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in cross-platform mobile application development with a strong portfolio of live apps on the App Store and Google Play Store.
- Proficiency in modern mobile frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Dart, along with native development understanding.
- Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party payment or analytics services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
